We are excited to be putting out our first official RSC newsletter - thanks for tuning in! We wanted to start by giving thanks. We are so grateful to everyone that contributed to a wonderful fall season, to those that helped out with our first Velo Swap, to those that contributed to our first Giving Tuesday campaign. We are very grateful for the support of our entire community, so thank you for being a part of that!
We also wanted to give a very special thank you to Mike Clark, who served as RSC’s first interim Executive Director from fall 2024 through the end of the 2025 fall season. Mike, thank you for your dedication, leadership, and commitment to RSC and our mission. You have truly made a difference!
Over the course of 12 weeks this team, our youth mountain bike team hit the trails with energy, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. With 100 riders strong and supported by over 40 amazing coaches and parents, this season was one to remember.
From weekly practices to skill-building sessions, trail adventures, and team challenges, our riders showed huge growth — not only in their riding ability but also in confidence, teamwork, and grit. Watching athletes encourage one another, conquer new terrain, and celebrate each other’s progress has been the true highlight of the year. A massive THANK YOU to the parents and volunteer coaches who gave their time, expertise, and enthusiasm every single week. Your support keeps this team rolling.
Here’s to the miles we’ve ridden, the skills we’ve gained, and the community we’ve built. Can’t wait to see what next season brings!
Our XC team had a great season! We had 25 riders that competed across the Commonwealth in 4 different races, and then many also chose to compete at the Eastern Regionals in Elkton, MD. The race recaps for the 4 races are below. Big thanks to Coach Liesebet for putting together these race reports!
