Join us this fall for the inaugural Roanoke Velo Swap, a one-of-a-kind bike marketplace where cyclists of all kinds can buy, sell, and trade gear — all while supporting the next generation of mountain bikers!
$50 per 6 foot table
Individuals and families may share a table
Sales over $500 will have an additional 10% charge to benefit the Roanoke Star Cycling youth mountain biking program
Refreshments available for purchase
Whether you’re looking to clear out your gear stash, score some deals, or connect with fellow riders, this community event has something for everyone. Proceeds from vendor fees and donations go directly to Roanoke Star Cycling, a nonprofit youth development organization empowering kids through mountain biking, mentorship, and adventure.

What is a velo swap?
What is a velo swap?
A Velo Swap is a community event where cyclists can buy, sell, or trade bicycles, parts, apparel, and accessories. It’s a great way to find deals, clear out your garage, and connect with other bike enthusiasts.
Who can participate?
Who can participate?
Anyone! Riders, collectors, shops, and casual cyclists are all welcome. You don’t have to be a vendor to attend — just come ready to browse and have fun.

Saturday, November 15 from 9 am - 4 pm at Riverdale in Southeast Roanoke. We’re hosting this event in Building 6 located at 1914 Technical St SE, Roanoke, VA 24013.

Nope, it’s free to attend!

In addition to bikes and bike-related items, our organization will also be having a bake sale and selling coffee, hot chocolate and tea to raise money for our team.

Most vendors accept cash, some may use Venmo or Paypal. Please bring small bills for convenience. Roanoke Star Cycling will accept credit card payments for our bake sale items as well as cash.

Anything bike or bike related (apparel, bike components, bikes, racks, tools, accessories, etc).

Yes! Just register for a table and let us know you just need space or one bike.

Sure! Just have one person submit the registration form and you all can coordinate amongst yourselves.

Yes, you need to be present from 9 am - 4 pm on Saturday, November 15 to manage selling your items.

We’ll take them! We’ll either use them for the team, or pass along to RMA for them to sell (with your permission of course!) to raise funds for our team.

1 6-foot table is included with your vendor registration. You are welcome to purchase multiple tables. Please bring your own chairs.

It depends on the seller. Be respectful when bargaining.

You’ll have to check with the person selling the bike. Please only test ride outside the building.
